Love it! It's small but I am happy that SOMETHING happened and I love the Nobody's Daughter mix... I am dying to hear it all! Thank you Courtney! Also, thanks for the updates from last nights show via Twitter! I hope some of it turns up on Youtube or the new web site! Some other thoughts: Last night's show was billed as Courtney Love despite Hole being there and there's no mention of Hole on the site teaser (maybe cuz it's a teaser?)... Things like that are still causing some confusion for me... Anyway, very cool, best of luck and I am totally going to blow up my iPod from playing this album so much when it finally comes out! xxOo Happy 2010!
ok, yeah I'm starting to get excited again, it's happening again! The pics from the show last night posted on twitter look great. Good to see her seem calmer, happier and the pre-show photos are good. Is there a set-list anyone? The preview of the new site also - exciting! Now come on, let's see this happen!
The set, according to Courtney's Twitter was:
- Gold Dust Woman
- Malibu
- Honey
- Amen
- Pacific Coast Highway
- Unsatisfied
- Bette Davis Eyes
- Codeine
- Jolene
As for the website, it's a let down. Five minutes work, adding a picture, a horribly mixed demo clip, a link to a empty Facebook fanpage, and a mailing list. Surely if she had of intended on releasing a single via a website she would of put a lot more effort in to it than this. Of course, it's nice to see at least some form of effort but you'd expect more considering she's let her fans down a number of times before this...
Also true, it definitely wasn't a super exciting launch, but it was the art that she said it would be... So that pretty much is what I was expecting. I think we know how this goes by now, and I've had my turn venting frustrations about the communication/promoting issues... But I think at this point as as fan you have to suck it up or walk. I don't think she cares much, she'll do what she wants on her own terms. Or at least that is the impression that has been given. All I remember is the zip we got last year so at least this is a step up.
I know guys, could say I thought there'd be a bit more than this, but yes it is what we've kind of come to expect and I have to admit to enjoying anything that hints at any kind of work. Wonder if the site will actually come to anything more than what it is at the moment. At least the stuff about the shows and that is a more positive Courtney at the moment.

I've never noticed how much Sugar Coma/Boys on the Radio sounds like Unsatisfied as when Micko is playing it. They should bring back Boys on the Radio into the shows.
