Courtney joins the Oxford Conservative Association

Courtney Love has been made a Non-Executive Officer For Rock And Roll by the Oxford University Conservative Association (OUCA).

The position is unlikely to involve much work for the Hole singer, but she still turned up to accept the honour by attending the university’s Port & Policy debate on behalf of OUCA on Sunday night (January 23).

During the evening she was photographed mingling with OUCA members and she also spoke of her support for Wikileaks, reports political blog Order-Order.com.

It is not the first time Love has made an appearance at Oxford University. In February 2010 she gave a speech to students there, taking questions form the audience and giving her opinion on the UK and US music scenes.
